“Great hotel set in quiet, open expanse of countryside backing onto golf course with ample free parking. Room was large, modern, comfortable and well appointed with beverage kit, kettle, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful, and leisure facilities - gym, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi - were outstanding. A thoroughly enjoyable stay and returning next week.”

“We thought Hintlesham Hall was superb. Every member of staff that we came in contact with was friendly, helpful and eager to please. The accommodation was very clean and our room was well equipped with attention to detail. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and well presented. Afternoon tea was also a lovely experience. “A minor mistake made while booking turned my experience into a complete nightmare. Because of my dyslexia I booked Friday night instead of Saturday night (made the booking the night before, on Thursday). I got an email on Friday asking me how my stay was going, and I realised a mistake had been made. I then spent three hours (!) on the phone trying to resolve the situation, going round the houses. “Room carpet was dirty. Bathroom smelled like pee and it looked gross, too, plus door knobs were degraded. There was no DND sign for the door. Breakfast was nothing to write home about, and awful for people with dietary restrictions. They made me scrambled eggs without milk as requested, but it was inedible due to being undercooked. Who likes stringy (like snot) egg whites in scrambled eggs? Emailed for support, didn't reply. Tried talking to them, they didn't care.”
